Frequently Asked Questions
How Ordanix turns your organization's documents into answers, and how your data and team are managed.
Ordanix is an AI knowledge base for your organization. You upload your documents, and the AI assistant answers your team's questions from them instead of from general knowledge.
When someone asks a question, Ordanix finds the most relevant passages in your organization's approved documents and gives them to the AI, which answers from them. This is called retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Only reviewed and approved documents are indexed, so the assistant never quotes a draft or a file that was uploaded by mistake. Approval is a permission your organization gives to the people it trusts.
Yes. An organization can have divisions, and each one keeps its own documents and conversations. People see what their role and their division allow.
Yes. An organization can use the managed AI service, or bring its own model keys so requests run on its own account.
Yes. Team chat runs alongside the AI assistant, so a question the documents cannot answer can go to a colleague in the same place.
Your organization decides how long AI chat history is kept, and older conversations are removed automatically.
Owners and administrators manage members, roles and documents; the permissions of each role decide who can upload, approve, chat or manage settings.
The company owner buys one plan, and its AI usage is shared with the team: the owner, or anyone they allow, gives each member their share on the Allocations page.
Sign up, choose a plan, upload your first documents and approve them. Once they are indexed, ask the assistant a question.
